as you might already know, i’m a bit hyper about Valentine’s day, especially with 2 little crafty kids always eager to make & mail cards. i put together some quick Valentine’s guides — part 1 & a part 2 and always coming up with new ways to keep our 3 & 5 year old’s entertained.
this morning we made some quick Valentine’s tees using DecoArt fabric paint + a homemade stencil using my CAMEO. of course, you can always use an Xacto knife and follow Holly’s method over at 504Main!
- tshirts
- DecoArt SoSoft fabric paint & sponge brushes
- FREEZER paper with stencils OR Xacto knife instructions OR with a CAMEO design
- thin cardboard to place between the front & back of the tee so the paint doesn’t bleed through
once the paint begins to dry to the tee {about 30-40 minutes} gently remove the freezer paper and let the tee finish drying for a few more hours before wearing!
