The Scoop on Our Gal Groups!

Have you ever been in a room filled with so many people, that you could barely move without bumping into someone else’s shoulder? Or maybe there was so much chatter that you couldn’t tell the difference between who was saying what, or who was talking to who?

Don’t situations like that make you feel small? Like you’re just a face in a sea of faces and anything you have to say, really isn’t worth saying?

But what you have to say does matter. And what you’re thinking and what you’re going through and who you are does matter.

You should never feel so small that your circumstance seems to not matter.

The truth is, your heart is worth knowing, your story is worth sharing, your vision is worth casting, your gifts are worth using.

Fancy Little Things knows this, and that is exactly why we offer Gal Groups.

Women like being heard and being encouraged. We like knowing that someone else has felt what we are feeling and that we are not standing alone, lost among the sea of faces. We like having someone who will walk alongside us…someone who can be a shoulder to lean on if we need one…or a friend to shout and dance with in times of celebration. We like being real. We like being funny. We like being useful. We like being cared for. We like sharing our stories, recipes, homemaking tricks and parenting tips…We love passing down advice and we also love gaining it.

And, well…our Gal Groups? They are small growth groups that provide intimate spaces to do just that.

The current Gal Groups that we offer have shown glimmers of that kind of community; they are the sparks to a flame that we hope we will start fires of conversations and friendships and partnerships.

But…we desire to see more and more women who are willing to be real, willing to open up and share what they are going through. To lead from that, and to walk along side of others who are going through the same…or the similar.

Maybe, you desire that too?

Whether you feel a tug in your heart to lead up a Gal Group, or whether you’re hoping to join one that you think might be of encouragement to you, join. Don’t think about it, don’t wait. Just join.

Because if you don’t, you will be missing out on one of the greatest gifts that God has given to us —-> “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” -Hebrews 10:24-25
