Decor Deals Online

So after telling you last week how much I shopped sales and thrift stores (which I do!), I thought I’d also let you in on some great online decor deals that are out there.

The first site I came across that offered “flash” sales (short-lived sales, limited quantities of select pieces) was One Kings Lane.  This site caught my eye and my interest, because it was founded by two women with incredible radars for stylish decor.

Each sale is delivered to my inbox and lasts for two to three days at a time.  At any point in time, they may have five to seven sales going on.  It can be furniture, rugs, table top items, gift ware, books, accessories…all deeply discounted.  They are always on trend with truly unique finds you won’t find in the aisles of Target, TJ Maxx, or in the Pottery Barn catalog. They routinely tap the design sensibilites of some leaders in interior design for fresh offerings.  I’ve loved every single thing I’ve ever purchased from them (check out my most recent score here)!  Click HERE for your invitation to join.

Another favorite flash site of mine is Joss and Main.

Joss & Main

Joss and Main operates similarly to One Kings Lane: email delivery of the sales that last for a limited time.  What’s a little different about them is the wider variety of items for the home that they offer.  Here you’ll find furniture, rugs, etc, too, but you’ll also find bedding, toys, towels, notecards.  Good deals abound here as well!  And I love the purple peacock logo — it just oozes style to me. Click HERE for your invitation to join.

I’ve also discovered The Foundary.  I’ve bought several things from The Foundary and have always been pleased with the quality of the pieces and the customer service offered.  Owned by Hayneedle, The Foundary offers an even wider variety of what they call “home essentials” through their daily sales.  You might find exotic teas, scarves and jewelry pieces, and the latest trends in wall decor, in addition to you more traditional “decor” items.  I’ve even bought things for my classroom on this site!  Their selection appeals to every member of the family, not just the decorista in all of us. :)

New to the flash sale scene is a one-deal-a-day site called WUSLU.  What I love about this site is you can peek at what’s on sale in your email, delete if you’re not interested or click through to place you order.  Simple as that.  These are strictly decor accent pieces usually medium in scale and extremely economical.  I’ve never seen a piece priced over $40.  Oh, and flat rate shipping– yay!!  They specialize in making your 1 Decor Deal a Day a doozie and one you won’t find anywhere else and at up to 80% off retail.  Here’s an example…

Delish, no??  This baby was offered today for only $28.50 plus $5 shipping.  Visit WUSLU to sign up for your daily dish.

My newest online love is Antique Farm House, an off shoot of WUSLU that offers multiple sales events on any given day.  The events will have only a handful of items apiece (unlike One Kings Lane, Joss & Main, and The Foundary) and run for a few days.  These are carefully selected unique antique finds for the home, but like its sister site WUSLU, all items are extremely affordable.

AntiqueFarmHouse.com

Current sales include a few Shabby Chic items, industrial lighting selections, one-of-a-kind Parisian creations, select paintings of farm animals… you get the picture!  Head over to check out the fun and start shopping!

And lastly, I’ve stumbled upon Mindy’s Minute Market.  Everything from bakers twine, unfinished picture frames, scrapbooking items, apparel, these talented artisans are harnessing purchasing power and sharing the love.  Their flash sales are only valid for the day everything I’ve seen so far is under $10.  I have yet to purchase from them, but I am impressed by the variety of products they have offered recently. Their pieces seem more craft than decor oriented, but who doesn’t love a good DIY?  Check them out and let me know what you think!

So those are my budget-friendly online shopping sites.  Now it’s your turn!!  Where do you find the best deals online?

Well it’s not a decorating oriented site ~ but we have got very useful things off there ~ for example a Dyson vacuum! It’s woot.com and they have a wide variety of one item a day things to sell ~ they also have more specialized sister sites that are only to do with what they are labeled ~ winewoot.com kidswoot.com and my most favorite is shirtwoot.com. It’s original tshirt designs that people like you and me submit designs for and if you get picked to be featured on a shirt you get $$$! I love buying from them~ I have a section in my dresser just for my woot shirts! Some are cute and some are funny ~ but all are clever! ;)
