Cozy It Up with Natural Elements
With winter’s chill full blown now (and lots of gray days, too), I thought we’d turn to Mother Nature for some warmth in our homes. There are so many ways to introduce natural elements into your decor without spending a fortune! Think wood, plants, stone, and natural fibers. Mother Nature’s colors are always perfect and her elements are ideal for shaking the winter blues.

Love the moss-covered balls in a burled wood container, the wooden mirror frame, orchid, and wheat sheafs… could you think of a more natural vignette? But any one of these elements by themselves would have marvelous impact.

How about adding a small scale wicker piece? Or linen window treatments?
These would be a beautiful complement in any decor… moss, twigs, and pinecones in glass containters. Simple but lovely!
This kitchen does it right! Topiaries for greenery and bamboo blinds for texture and warm tones.
Another simple touch– sisal-wrapped bowl with fruit.
