it is such a busy time of year. we are stressed. overwhelmed. to do lists stretching several index cards. gifts to make. gifts to buy. gifts to wrap. gifts to give. emails to respond to. Christmas cards to send. we are tired. busy. sleepless.
so, no project for you to have to remember later… just some fun stuff to check out.

Aimee’s GIANT Chocolate Chip Cookies
in a large bowl – beat together the following:
1 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar & 3/4 c. white sugar
add: 2 eggs, 1 at a time & 1 teaspoon vanilla
in a second bowl combine the following:
2 1/3 cups flour, 1 t.baking soda, 1/2 t. salt
add flour mixture to first bowl & mix with wooden spoon until well combined. add 1 c. chocolate chips & 1 c. walnuts, if desired.
set oven to 325 and drop 1/4 cup of the dough onto a foil-lined baking sheet. bake 10-15 minutes – the edges will brown and the top will turn a golden tan. {makes about 18 cookies IF you don’t eat too much of the dough.
